Job Fair - March 3, 2008 - Bedford, IN
U.S. Rep. Steve Buyer, R-Monticello, and state Rep. Eric Koch, R-Bedford, have joined together to host the 2008 Hoosier Job Fair.
The job fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 3 at the Lawrence County 4-H Fairgrounds Expo Hall.
The fair is intended to help job-hunting Hoosiers to match their skills with the needs of employers in the area and will be held in cooperation with Indiana WorkOne, the Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce and the Lawrence County Fairgrounds.
The event will be free to both businesses and job-seekers. Businesses who would like to participate should contact Michelle Price in Congressman Buyer’s Plainfield District Office at (317) 838-0404 or visit his Web site at www.stevebuyer.house.gov to sign up.
